Terms of Service
These terms cover the services Local Test ("we," "us") provides and the agreement between us and you, the customer, when you book service.
Services
We provide residential swimming pool services on Long Island, including weekly maintenance, pool openings, pool closings, equipment installation and repair, leak detection, and water chemistry balancing. We will describe and price the work before starting any job that goes beyond a routine scheduled visit.
Scheduling and access
- Appointments are scheduled by phone or text and confirmed in writing
- You agree to provide safe access to the pool and equipment (unlocked gate, restrained pets, clear path)
- If we arrive at a scheduled appointment and cannot access the pool, a trip fee may apply
Pricing and payment
Prices for routine services are quoted at the time of booking. Repairs and parts are quoted before work begins. Invoices are due upon receipt unless other terms have been agreed in writing. Late payments may pause future service until the balance is current.
Cancellation and rescheduling
We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. A trip fee may be charged for same-day cancellations of scheduled visits.
Weather
Severe weather may cause us to reschedule. We will reach out by text or phone to coordinate a new time.
Text messages (SMS)
By giving us your phone number and either verbally agreeing during a call, or submitting the sign-up form on https://app.144.202.6.80.sslip.io with the consent checkbox, you consent to receive appointment confirmations, reminders, arrival notices, and customer-care replies by SMS from our office line at . Message frequency varies based on your scheduled appointments and any conversations you start with us. Message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. Opting out only stops SMS, it does not cancel your service.
Limitations of liability
We perform our work with reasonable care. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, damage from circumstances outside our control (weather, vandalism, faulty installation by others), or consequential damages beyond the cost of the service we performed. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service at issue.
Photos and notes
Our technicians take photos of equipment and water conditions to document service. These photos are stored privately in your customer record and are not published or shared outside our team without your permission.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted at this URL with the "Last updated" date above.
